We hope you are all well and staying positive during these difficult times. We understand the challenges you have faced with home learning but really appreciate your efforts. We are pleased with all the positive feedback and the lovely work that has been sent to us over the past few weeks. We look forward to welcoming all the children back to school soon, but until then please take care of yourselves and each other.
Last term, we enjoyed learning about ‘Ourselves’ and ‘Our Wonderful World’. We were also extremely pleased with our special Christmas Production ‘Baubles’, which the children thoroughly enjoyed learning and filming back in December.
This term, we hope the children have enjoyed learning about ‘Materials’ in Science and ‘The Victorians’ in History. After the half-term holidays we will finish off our topic on ‘The Victorians’ and we will focus more on ‘The Weather’ in our Geography and Science lessons.
Finally, we would like to continue to encourage reading at home. We know it is difficult not having books freely available for the children to read, but sharing stories is great for building on their vocabulary. If you haven’t already done so, please use the following websites to access free e-books on your devices at home:

These children’s comics by Phonics Play are very cool too:

Please let us know if you need any additional support with home learning. We are here to help both you and the children however we can.
