Welcome back. The children have settled in well to our new normal and are getting used to their new routines. We are enjoying learning about the island of Madagascar and writing creatively using the film as our inspiration. Lots of work needed on capital letters and full stops. Did you know Madagascar is the world’s oldest and fourth largest island!
We are doing place value in Numeracy and getting used to using a 100 square and other new resources. The children need to keep working on counting in 2s, 5s and 10s to help when we start our times tables.
In Science we are finding out about the life cycles of different animals including Humans and matching offspring to their parents. We will be finding out about the basic needs of animals for survival.
