🌸 Spring Term – Let’s Get Roaring! 🦖
We’re starting the new term with a ROAR! The children will kick things off with an exciting Dinosaur Workshop to launch our topic: Animals Past and Present. 🐾 From giant dinosaurs to the animals we see today, it’s going to be a wild adventure!
In History, we’ll meet two amazing people: Mary Anning, the fossil hunter who uncovered secrets of the past, and Sir David Attenborough, the nature hero who inspires us to care for our planet. 🌍
Science is all about animals – including humans! We’ll discover what makes us special and how we fit into the animal kingdom. 🧠🦋
Maths will keep our brains buzzing with Addition and Subtraction within 20 and exploring Place Value up to 50. 🔢
In English, we’ll master the basics: capital letters, finger spaces, and full stops ✏️. Plus, we’ll write instructions, create poetry, and tell stories with familiar settings. 📚
Our creative side will shine in Art, where we’ll explore Flora and Fauna 🌸🦜, and in DT, where we’ll get crafty with Textiles. 🧵
In Geography, we’ll travel the world to learn about hot and cold countries 🌡️❄️, while PE will keep us moving with Dance. 💃
RE is all about friendship, and in PSHE, we’ll celebrate what makes Britain diverse and wonderful. 🇬🇧✨
It’s going to be a term full of discovery, creativity, and fun – we can’t wait to get started! 🎉
Parents: Thank you for your continued support – let’s make this term amazing together! 💙
