We have plunged into our water topic and are having a splashing time! We are learning about the Water Cycle and will be writing explanations during our Literacy lessons. Also linked to this is our Science where we have started to find out about solids, liquids and gases. During topic, we will study the journey of a river from source to mouth and how the river is eroded along its journey.
We will soon be sending home our final homework project of the year which will be a study of Joseph Mallard Turner. Letter with details to follow nearer half term.
We hope to have a visit from Alan McDonald of the RNLI to help us learn about safety around water. We will be studying canal boats to get inspiration for our canal sewing projects.
As part of our water topic(!) we are taking part in the National Snowsports Week, at the Snowdome and going skiing on Friday 28th June. This is a free event. More details to follow.
On the 2nd July, we look forward to sharing our percussion skills in a multi-school performance at the Coton Centre. Details to follow once we have received more information. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please continue to read regularly, practise spellings and times tables.
