The typical working day at the Academy runs from 8:50 to 15:30. We would advise you not to send your child to the Academy more than 10 minutes before 8:50. The Hive takes place before the working day starts. All children are welcome to attend and the club runs each weekday. - Morning Session
8:50 – 12:00 (Foundation & Year 1)
8:50 – 12:15 (Years 2 & 3)
8:50 – 12:30 (Years 4, 5 & 6) - Afternoon Session
12:45 – 15:20 (Foundation & Year 1)
13:00 – 15:20 (Year 2)
13:00 – 15:30 (Year 3)
13:15 – 15:30 (Years 4, 5 & 6)
Breaks & Lunchtimes
We provide a 15 minute breakfast break for the children which runs from 10:30 to 10:45. The lunchtime break runs between 12:00 and 13:15.
Typical School Week
A Typical school week , including breaks but not after-school activities is as follows:
Foundation and Key Stage 1 = 32.5 hours a week.
Key Stage 2 – 33.3 hours a week.
