Terms and Conditions for Parents/Carers
Please note we are experiencing high demand for the Hive before and after school club and the Holiday clubs. To be fair to all parents who may need this service we have introduced the following and ask that you keep us informed if you no longer need the booked place so that we can offer it to someone on the waiting list.
Before and After School Club
- All places for children attending ‘The Hive’ must be booked in advance and full payment completed at least 48 hours in advance of attendance (unless payment is via Childcare Vouchers).
- Cancellations must be received a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the session booked. If no such notification is received, including children collected from school without prior notification to the Hive, the normal charge will still be applied.
- Payments for sessions can be made via Childcare Vouchers or ParentPay.
- Fees will be published separately
- Admission can be refused until full payment has been made.
- In the event that a debt is owed, funds received will be applied to reduce the oldest outstanding debt and in no circumstances will any new bookings be taken until the debt is repaid in full
- Any fee increases will be announced eight weeks in advance.
- Opening times are Monday to Friday between 7.30am—8.45am and 3.20pm—6pm. Early admissions will not be accepted.
- Children must be collected by the end of the session for which they are booked.

- The Hive’ will be closed during school holidays (except for the provision of pre-arranged holiday clubs).
- Parents must supply ’The Hive’ with emergency contact telephone numbers and these must always be up to date. It is the parents/carers responsibility to notify the Hive staff in writing or email of any change of work place, home address, mobile number or contact person.
- Children will not be allowed to leave the Hive with an adult who is not named as a contact on their personal record, unless informed prior to the occasion. No one under the age of 16 years will be allowed to collect on your behalf.
- Pupils attending the Hive before school will be offered toast and cereal, and a light snack will be provided after school. This does not replace the evening meal and will be dependent upon the time of collection of your child. Drinks will also be available before and after school.
- Should a child have any medical condition(s), including allergies and food intolerances, it is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure the Hive is notified in writing/email.
- We want all children to enjoy their time at the Hive Before and After School Club. We will expect the highest standard of behaviour at all times. Persistent disruptive behaviour will result in loss of registration and childcare.
